Elon Musk, DOGE Team Reveal Which Agency Fought Them Hardest

Elon Musk and members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team appeared on Fox News on Thursday and were named the federal agency that most actively resisted the directorial effort.

President Donald Trump announced in November that Musk would lead Doge to eliminate waste and overhaul the federal agency. In an interview about “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Musk and the Doge team revealed which agents resist them most. While considering the agency's operations, Doge made an astonishing discovery.

“The small institution called the American Peace Institute is definitely the institution we fought the most. We actually entered the institution and found ourselves carrying guns inside our headquarters.”

“So, for certain companies, certain organizational names will be something like the opposite of the title,” Musk told host Jesse Watters.

Musk's team also said they discovered troublesome financial practices.

“So, ironically, it was a much more peaceful agency that we've been working with. What's more, we found out they were spending money on things like private jets. “So they were contractors. They received $130,000 for generic services. And Elon's point didn't have a clear explanation of what the contractor services were actually intended.”

Watters asked if the funds paid the opium. A member of the Doge team said the answer was unknown.

“And of course you have to ask, “How did you get here?” When the country was established there were only four agencies,” said a member of the Doge team. “Today, there are over 400 people. Therefore, since the country's establishment, the number of institutions has increased by 100 x. And thanks to President Trump, he has now signed two executive orders to reduce the number of institutions in the government.”

The Peace Institute has become one of the first goals for audits and potential closures. Within hours of their arrival, the team discovered another bomb.

“The Peace Institute was one of them. That's why our team tried to understand what was going on, and that's when we found all the madness like the weapons in their arsenal. We found payments to the Taliban,” a member of the Doge team said. “So, a few hours after we entered their headquarters, we found out that their chief accountant had actually deleted terabytes of accounting records from some leaders.

Thanks to an internal whistleblower, the Doge team managed to recover the record.

“I think the most annoying thing was getting $55 million a year to Congress and then wiping it off to Congress instead of going back to Congress, instead of going back to Congress. “And that's what they use to fund things like headquarters and events on private jets. And I think that's a great example because most Americans don't know what's going on with these many small agencies.”

Musk said eradication of government waste is not easy, but he argued that his team is making progress. Musk said the mission behind Doge will last well beyond the first 100 days. Musk previously said he plans to reduce his full-time involvement with Doge. (Related: “Accountability is coming”: Joni Ernst sends Musk's dogge to spend on ideas worth a trillion dollars)

Musk said that Doji discovered the rhythm and no longer needed the 24-hour attention he had given him since the administration began. He told reporters he would not be leaving Doge completely and would continue to be involved with DC about two days a week.
