Tech billionaire Elon Musk has reportedly donated to a super PAC supporting former President Trump’s reelection effort. Bloomberg reports.
Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, donated an undisclosed amount to the America PAC, a source familiar with the matter told the outlet.
The allegations come just months after Musk said he wouldn’t give money to either president ahead of the November rematch between Trump and Biden, but he has increasingly voiced support for conservative views and politics in recent years.
“Let me be clear: I have not donated to either candidate for president of the United States,” Musk said. I have written He posted this on his social media platform X in March.

The billionaire has also been a harsh critic of Biden on The X Show, criticizing the president over his loyalty to unions and his immigration policies.

According to Bloomberg, U.S. PACs have until July 17 to disclose their new donor lists.

The numbers helped negate Biden’s financial advantage earlier in the election cycle, but both candidates still have a lot of money at their disposal.
