Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reportedly had a third child with an executive at his brain chip implant company, Neuralink.
Bloomberg revealed on Saturday that Neuralink director Siobhan Gillis gave birth to Musk’s child, whose name has not been made public, earlier this year.
The birth comes after Musk revealed that he had twins with Gillis in 2022, who were reportedly conceived via in vitro fertilization.
Musk, the world’s second-richest person with a net worth of about $200 billion, according to Bloomberg, has at least 12 children, six of them born in the past five years: three with Gillis and three with Canadian pop star Grimes.
Musk has previously joked that he’s “trying his best to solve the underpopulation crisis,” which he sees as “the biggest crisis facing civilization.”
On Thursday, Musk posted a chart. He claims that Europe is in the midst of a “birth rate crisis” and that “civilization may end either with an explosion, or with a whimper in adult diapers.”
Bloomberg noted that he has long promoted the debunked theory that the world’s population is declining.
According to the media, the United Nations predicts that despite a slowdown in global population growth rates, the world population will continue to grow and reach 10 billion by the end of this century.
The revelations come as Musk has been accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior by a number of female subordinates at his space exploration company, SpaceX.
Musk is accused of having a sexual relationship with an employee who joined the company as an intern and was rehired shortly after graduating from college, but then ended the relationship.
Musk also allegedly had affairs with other female subordinates at the rocket company, including one woman who was repeatedly asked by the tycoon to bear his children. The Wall Street Journal reported..
The tycoon also reportedly had a month-long sexual relationship with a third woman who reported to him at SpaceX before breaking it off.
Earlier this month, eight former SpaceX engineers – four men and four women – Lawsuit filed Musk claims he was fired for raising concerns about harassment of women in the workplace.
The lawsuit alleges that Musk’s actions created a “pervasive sexist culture” at SpaceX, where female engineers say they were routinely harassed and their concerns were ignored.
“These actions had the foreseeable and actual consequence of upsetting Plaintiff, causing him distress and violating his well-being to the extent that it disrupted his emotional peace at work,” the engineers said in the lawsuit.
Musk did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Washington Post.
