Heartfelt Connection: A Teen’s Questions for Elon Musk

A 15-year-old girl battling cancer, who wished to meet Elon Musk, left behind a handwritten list of questions just before her passing. Following her death, Musk took the time to respond to her questions, a moment that resonated with countless people online.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck recently shared the poignant story of Liv Perrott, whose dream of meeting Musk remained unfulfilled. He noted that Liv had actually spoken with Tesla’s CEO shortly before her death but was too fatigued at that moment to continue the conversation, asking him to call back later.

Though they never met, Liv’s mother, Rebecca, revealed the list of eight questions that Liv had written on her nightstand, hoping that Musk would eventually see them and respond.

Beck shared an image of Liv with her notepad, which contained a mix of both serious and light-hearted questions. Among her inquiries were whether Musk had plans for his own cell phone, if he intended to expand Tesla Diner, and whether new games would be part of Tesla updates.

Additionally, she wanted to know his favorite anime, details about his travels to Japan, his familiarity with the virtual pop star Hatsune Miku, and whether Grok AI’s virtual companion, “Ani,” was inspired by “Misa” from the manga “Death Note.”

Upon seeing the post, Musk responded directly, addressing each of Liv’s questions. He clarified that he isn’t developing his own phone but did confirm plans for Tesla Diner expansion and the introduction of new games.

Musk also shared that his favorite anime is the romantic fantasy film, *Your Name*, and detailed his multiple visits to Japan, mentioning Kyoto and the art collective teamLab specifically as highlights of his travels.

For Liv’s final query about a stuffed animal known as the “asteroid,” which signals microgravity, Musk agreed to honor her design by naming it the official mascot for SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission, paying tribute to her creativity with a simple “OK” and a smile.

Rebecca expressed her heartbreak, wishing Liv could witness Musk’s responses. The post garnered nearly 2 million views and tens of thousands of likes across social media platforms, solidifying the emotional impact of this exchange.
