Elon Musk reportedly had a sexual relationship with a SpaceX employee who joined the company as an intern and was hired straight out of college, but the relationship later ended.

A year later, Musk took the woman to a resort in Sicily, where the two met, the Journal reported, while he was in town for a conference hosted by Google.
The woman’s passport was in another city, so Musk arranged for a friend to deliver it to her on an early morning domestic flight, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The woman then reportedly booked a first-class flight to London, then a private jet to Italy.
In 2017, Musk offered the woman a senior staff position.

After moving from New York to Los Angeles, the woman accepted Musk’s invitation to meet for drinks.
Her friends told the Journal that Musk approached her and groped her breasts.
One of her friends said the woman remembers Musk telling her: “Oh, I’m such a naughty girl. You shouldn’t do this.”
“Elon attempted to repair our relationship before I joined the company, but I declined the offer. It was awkward at first, but nothing unusual after the rejection,” the woman said in an affidavit provided to The Wall Street Journal by a law firm representing Musk and Tesla.
The woman, who denied ever having a “romantic relationship” with Musk, said she was unhappy at SpaceX because she lacked authority and had difficulty getting other executives to take her ideas seriously, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The situation escalated to the point where she hid in bathrooms on company property on multiple occasions, The Wall Street Journal reported.
In an affidavit provided to The Wall Street Journal, the woman said her feelings about her job at SpaceX were “in no way related to any romantic relationship or personal interaction with Elon Musk.”
“I was joining a well-established company as a novice in a very challenging role,” she said in the affidavit.
According to friends, she had been struggling to establish herself within the company and had been visiting Musk at his home because her boss was frequently texting her.
“Come on!” Musk texted her. When she didn’t reply, he kept texting.
“Look, it’s either me or 6am. [exercise] :),” he once wrote.
On another occasion, Musk texted: “Just finished a conference call regarding Model 3 production. The next few months are definitely going to be hell.”
“Can you come? If you don’t I will probably fall asleep. I’m too stressed out to sleep naturally,” Musk wrote to her.
After Musk didn’t reply to his message, he wrote, “Maybe we shouldn’t meet.”
The next morning, the woman wrote him back, “Oh sorry I fell asleep. I’ve been a late riser most of my life but I try to stay up late because I think it’s the responsible thing to do. Honestly, I’m sorry I fell asleep last night.”
