Elon Musk is set to soon become the world's first trillionaire, according to a new report.

Musk's net worth is currently $248 billion. According to That puts him on the Forbes billionaires list, but the Tesla and SpaceX CEO has reportedly quadrupled his net worth in just three years.

Tesla's annual growth rate of 173% means the electric car maker could be a trillion-dollar company by 2025.

Musk, already the world's richest man, is said to be the “leading candidate” to become the world's first trillionaire by 2027. Informa Connect Academy.

The media noted that Musk's net worth has been growing at an average annual rate of 109.88%.

Informa Connect Academy also lists other billionaires whose net worths could reach 13 figures in the near future.

Indian billionaire businessman Gautam Adani has an estimated net worth of $84 billion with a compound annual growth rate of 122.86%. Adani is expected to become a trillionaire by 2028.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has a net worth of approximately $77 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of 111.88%. Huang is expected to become a trillionaire in 2028.

Prajogo Pangestu is an Indonesian businessman known for his involvement in the timber, petrochemical, and energy industries. His net worth is $43.4 billion with an average annual growth rate of 135.95%. Pangestu is expected to become a trillionaire by 2028.

Other notable billionaires are also expected to become trillionaires.

Bernard Arnault is a French billionaire and the chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world's largest luxury goods conglomerate. Arnault and his family have a net worth of $172 billion. They could join the trillion-dollar club in 2030.

Mark Zuckerberg, founder, chairman and CEO of Meta, which was founded as Facebook in 2004, is expected to be a trillionaire by 2030.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is currently the second-richest person in the world with a net worth of $197 billion, but he is reported to be a trillionaire by 2036.

Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison is currently the world's third-richest person with a net worth of $192 billion, but he could become a trillionaire by 2035.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates currently has a net worth of $136 billion and is projected to be a trillionaire by 2054.

There are currently seven companies with a market capitalization of over $1 trillion, including Microsoft ($3.394 trillion), Apple ($3.323 trillion), NVIDIA ($3.57 trillion), Alphabet ($2.269 trillion), Amazon ($2.52 trillion), Saudi Aramco ($1.817 trillion), and Meta ($1.28 trillion).

The Informa Connect Academy report also profiles companies that could soon join the trillion-dollar business club.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., the world's third-largest chipmaker, is currently valued at $893 billion but could reach $1 trillion next year.

Berkshire Hathaway, the holding company led by billionaire investor Warren Buffett, currently has a market capitalization of $874 billion and could reach $1 trillion by 2025.

Pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly has a market capitalization of $823 billion and is expected to reach $1 trillion next year.

Musk's Tesla currently has a market capitalization of $669 billion. With Tesla's compounded annual growth rate of 173%, the electric car maker could be worth a trillion dollars by 2025.
