Elon Musk ‘Seemed Really Averse to Facts’

Former CNN host Don Lemon said Wednesday on CNN’s “Outfront” that Elon Musk “seems to hate facts” during an interview, which led Musk to talk about Lemon and X/ We have canceled our contract with Twitter.

In a clip of the interview, Lemon says, “Hate speech on platforms is prohibited. Do you think X and you have a responsibility to curb hate speech on platforms?” Do you think you don’t need to answer the question from?
“You don’t have to answer these questions,” Musk said.

Lemon continued, “Great alternative theory about Jews. Do you think so?

Musk said, “I don’t have to answer questions from reporters. Don, the only reason I’m doing this interview is because you’re on the X platform and you asked for it. Otherwise, I won’t be doing this interview.”

Lemon said, “So you don’t think — you don’t think you’re going to stay out of trouble or get criticized for this?”

Musk said, “I get criticized all the time. I don’t care.”

Anchor Erin Burnett said it was “illuminating in so many ways.”

“People who go out and shoot people who worship people, whether it’s a Latino in Texas, a black person in a supermarket in Buffalo, or a Jew, use the same rhetoric,” Lemon said. “There is,” he said. They are metaphors for being racist against Latinos, or blacks, or Jews. And I wanted to know whether he felt any responsibility as the owner of one of the largest social media information platforms in the world’s 2.5 billion people.
