Exclusive: Some House Republicans are increasingly frustrated by Elon Musk's handling of his role in the federal government.
R-Ga. Rep. Austin Scott raised concerns that Republican lawmakers aren't on the same page as the White House and Musk's Government Efficiency (DOGE), three people in the room told Fox News Digital.
And he's not just GOP lawmakers who feel that way.
“He wants to see better communication between the doge, the president and the house as Elon is being fed wolves just as he tweets,” a GOP lawmaker told Fox News Digital. He spoke.

The second GOP lawmaker said, “We're trying to echo Austin's comments. It's good to lift our heads. There are a lot of questions.”
“Is the words important? So let's make sure you're giving out accurate information,” the second lawmaker said.
Two House Republicans said Scott warned Dozi must “measure twice and cut once” in a federal audit.
Two other members, Rep. Ralph Norman, Rs.C. and another lawmaker said he had problems reposting the meme to X, which Scott mentioned people called “parasitite classes” on his mask.
“What Elon was talking about is that people playing the system are parasites. But Austin sees it differently. That's fine, Austin means that it's right. .
Scott told Fox News Digital that he supported Doge's goals but reaffirmed his frustration.

“Doge's recent requests for federal employees should have been coordinated with agencies before they were issued. I work with Doge to improve efficiency and eliminate tax waste. “We should have fully supported the company,” Scott said in writing. “That being said, calling Americans who may need government assistance “parasites” is not acceptable under any circumstances. ”
The House of Representatives returned to Capitol Hill on Monday a week later in his hometown district. Meanwhile, half a dozen Republicans faced constituents looking for more answers to Doge. Several demonstrations were facilitated by progressive groups.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, GOP lawmakers support the government's goal of reducing waste, but said Musk's methodology is problematic.
Although an email from the Human Resources Administration (OPM) did not mention job status, Musk posted to X that employees who did not comply may end.

“That's not what the most ordinary good boss fires someone,” the third House Republican told Fox News Digital. “Some of them may be bad, but most of them are good. They treat me like Americans.”
The fourth House Republican, a member of the House Doge Caucus, told Fox News Digital that Musk's comments were “useless.”
Another had trouble with Musk's suggestion on stimulus checks for Americans using Doge's savings.
“I think it's childish,” the person said. “Now we can receive money for waste, fraud, abuse collected by the federal government and give everyone $5,000 or pay back the National Debt. We'll pay here in Congress.”

“The effective cuts are up to the administrative agencies and administrative agencies run by President Trump, so if President Trump wants to cut administrative agencies, that's his privilege,” Rutherford said.
And the majority of Republicans are at least publicly supporting Musk.
“I think the majority, Americans, understand, praise and appreciate Doge's efforts, the goal of reducing the size and scope of government,” says Mike Johnson, R-La. Tuesday's briefing. “The reason we're excited about what Elon Musk and the Doge team are doing is that the end result is to achieve the goals we've always had, and that's to make government more efficient. .”
Fox News Digital has requested a White House Doge spokesman for comment.
