SpaceX owner Elon Musk has criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, saying she doesn't support a government efficiency commission.
The entrepreneur wrote in the early hours of Tuesday that unless “significant government reform” was undertaken, laws and regulations would get worse every year, eventually making innovation “effectively illegal.”

Speaking at an event in New York, President Trump said Musk would conduct a “full financial and performance audit of the entire federal government,” which would include Musk's recommendations for “radical reform.”
“Trump supports the Government Efficiency Commission to get great things done, and Kamala doesn't,” Musk added. “If Kamala wins, we'll never get to Mars.”

Musk also criticized the presidential debate between Trump and Harris, saying that she “exceeded most people's expectations” despite feeling the debate moderators were unfair to the former president.

Musk's Dragon Crew 9 was recently tasked with retrieving two Boeing astronauts who have been stranded on the International Space Station since August. SpaceX's recovery of the two astronauts will extend their mission in space from about two weeks to at least eight months.
X's owners have also been embroiled in a battle over freedom of speech in Brazil, where a judge ordered the platform to be shut down for failing to comply with a court order.
The attack from the South American country continues Musk's long-running battle with hostile governments, from Ukraine to mainstream Democrats, who have faced ongoing pressure to restrict free speech on his platform.
