In late August, X failed to comply with a court order to curb hate speech in Brazil, one of its largest and most coveted markets, and failed to appoint a legal representative in the country as required by law. He was suspended from his job.
Mr. Musk had denounced the order as censorship and called Mr. Moraes a “dictator,” but in recent weeks he began backtracking and reversing his position, with X blocking the ordered accounts and He appointed a representative and began paying the pending fines.
Moraes ruled in Tuesday's decision that Brazil's telecommunications regulator Anatel must try to get Company X back online in the country within 24 hours.

Earlier on Tuesday, Brazil's top public prosecutor's office submitted a legal opinion to the court, upholding Moraes' reinstatement, the final step necessary before allowing the former Twitter company X to resume service in the country.
