The “Rocket Man” singer spoke about his illness. Instagram On Tuesday, he said he has “limited vision in one eye” due to the infection.
“He is recovering, but it is healing very slowly and it will be some time before he regains vision in the damaged eye.” He said. “I'm so grateful to the excellent team of doctors and nurses who have looked after me so well over the past few weeks, and to my family.”
John said he is spending the summer at home and feels positive about his progress in recovery so far, without going into detail about what caused the eye infection.
