Boston police announced Thursday morning that they had arrested 108 demonstrators at Emerson College and four officers were injured in clashes with anti-Israel agitators.
A police spokesperson confirmed to FOX News Digital that three officers sustained minor injuries and one officer sustained serious injuries. None of the officers’ injuries were life-threatening.
The spokesperson added that no protesters in custody have reported any injuries at this time. All 108 people are scheduled to be arraigned later Thursday in Boston Municipal Court.
Boston City Councilman Ed Flynn said Wednesday night that he contacted Emerson College regarding complaints about protesters obstructing public access.

“I firmly believe in free speech, but public access cannot be blocked,” he wrote to X. “Violations of city ordinances must be addressed. Tents in public rights must be removed.”
The illegal camping ordinance prohibits individuals from pitching tents or tarps on public property.
Emerson students told WCVB that an announcement was made at 1 a.m. that anyone remaining at the anti-Israel encampment off Boylston Place Alley, which is not solely owned by Emerson College, would be arrested. According to the newspaper, Boston police officers left the Massachusetts Transit Building at 2 a.m. and entered a busy alley.
Students explained that officers had to drag protesters who were resisting arrest out of an alley.

Meanwhile, anti-Israel encampments have sprung up across Boston at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tufts University, and recently Harvard University.
On Wednesday, videos on social media showed anti-Israel demonstrators flocking to Harvard Yard and rapidly setting up tents for a “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” in a frenzy.
