Influencer Emily Kisser Reflects on Son’s Tragic Death
Influencer Emily Kisser has described the passing of her 3-year-old son, Trigg, as “the worst moment of my life.”
At just 26 years old, Kisser expressed that this loss has been the most serious and emotional challenge she has ever faced. She has requested that the judge keep photos and video footage related to the May incident, which occurred in the pool of their backyard in Chandler, Arizona, confidential.
“The tragedy is already weighing heavily on me. Knowing that there might be a specific video or other footage of this event—along with its aftermath—being made public would absolutely crush me,” she detailed in a new court document.
This marks Kisser’s first public statement regarding her son’s death. Trigg tragically fell into the swimming pool while he was playing on an inflatable chair, and his father, Brady, was occupied inside the house with their newborn son, Theodore.
“To see—or worse, to know that others can see—these images would force me to relive the worst moments of my life, making it even more difficult to heal,” she added.
The statement is part of a lawsuit Kisser filed shortly after Trigg’s death, aimed at blocking the release of records related to the accidental drowning.
Kisser did allow a partial release of a police report concerning her son’s passing but insisted on keeping any surveillance footage and images private.
With over 4.1 million followers on TikTok and 1.7 million on Instagram, Kisser has largely remained quiet on social media since the tragedy, stating that they only share their “love for our children” online.
“What I share as part of my profession is not meant to portray anything other than the deep love we have within our family. That sentiment should stay forever in my heart and in everyone else’s hearts,” she emphasized.
Brady Kisser, who was reportedly distracted by an NBA game during the incident, faced potential felony child abuse charges in July, but the Maricopa County Attorney later decided not to press charges.
He told police that Trigg had gone outside after dinner, adding that he lost sight of him while tending to the couple’s newborn.
According to police reports, Trigg spent around ten minutes underwater before being rescued.
He tragically passed away six days later, on May 18th.
The Kiser family’s legal team has not responded to requests for further comments.
