Emily Blunt wowed when she walked the Governors Awards red carpet in a black dress with diamond embellishments around the neck and chest. She wore her hair down in loose curls and accessorized with dangling diamond earrings.
Speculation is rife on the internet that she and her husband, actor John Krasinski, are headed for divorce after a video of them walking the carpet at the Golden Globe Awards went viral. In the video, the two exchange a few words while posing for photos, and although they can't hear what's being said, fans are convinced Krasinski said the word divorce.
One fan commented: “I watched this 500 times trying to convince myself he meant something other than divorce.” TikTok videos. Another person brought up another option, suggesting he said, “I can't wait to get inside.”
Blunt attended the ceremony as a nominee for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Oppenheimer. Although she did not win, the film won the Academy Award for Best Motion Picture Drama, and her co-star Cillian Murphy won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama.
