It's a fashion showdown.
Emily Blunt admits that when it comes to competing with Lenny Kravitz, the “It Ain't Over 'Till It's Over” singer always comes out on top.
The “Oppenheimer” actress, 40, appeared on “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday night wearing her signature tuxedo-style jumpsuit.
After showing off a bold backless design by David Koma, Blunt saw Kravitz sporting a nearly identical style on the Golden Globe Awards 2024 red carpet a few days ago, and she's been rocking hers anyway. He said he decided to stick to his style.
“Who wore it best?” the actress asked Colbert's audience as the host held up a photo of the rocker from Sunday's awards ceremony.
“So I saw him strut around the floor at the Golden Globes. I had this pre-planned for your show and I thought, 'I know, no, I'm still going to wear it.' ', she explained.
“There's something about Lenny Kravitz…When he walks into a room, it's like a bus runs over someone's cool factor, you know? It just kind of steams up. ”
Colbert agreed, quipping, “Do you know how cool Lenny Kravitz is?” He makes the name Lenny sound cool. ”
Kravitz, 59, may have won the fashion showdown, but in the end, his song “Road to Freedom” was nominated for Best Original Song to the “Barbie” ballad “What”. I ended up losing out to Billie Eilish in “Was I Made For.'' ? ”
Blunt also left the Golden Globes empty-handed, losing her Best Supporting Actress award to Davin Joy Randolph for “The Holdovers.”
The awards ceremony was an eventful one for British stars, with “Rich Kid of Beverly Hills” star Morgan Stewart slamming Blunt's ethereal Alexander McQueen dress and husband John Krasinski's two-tone Dolce & Gabbana He described the colored tuxedo as “laughably awful.”

And a clip of the couple, who share two daughters together, went viral as fans tried to read Krasinski's red lips during his conversation with his wife.
Some thought the “Office” star, 44, said, “I can't wait to get divorced,” while others believed the actor actually said, “I can't wait to get home.”
Neither of them addressed the speculation, but Blunt attended the Governors Awards alone the following night.
A source told Us Weekly that the TikTokers were a misunderstanding, adding, “There's nothing wrong with Emily and John. They haven't talked about divorce at all.”
The source added: “They think the rumors are funny and ridiculous.”
