President Donald Trump's energy director has vowed to reverse climate policy during the “political-slanted” Biden era as the new administration approaches climate change as a “physical phenomenon of the world.”
Energy Secretary Chris Wright spoke at an energy conference on Monday, knocking on climate policy implemented under former President Joe Biden and dismissing claims that he is a “climate denier.”
“I'm a climate realist,” Wright said at S&P Global's Theraweek Conference in Houston. “The Trump administration will deal with what it is, a global physical phenomenon, a side effect of building the modern world.”
The statement represents an administrative change on the issue after Biden argued that climate change is the “ultimate threat to humanity.”

Wright claimed that the Biden administration implemented policies that did not promote consumer choice, such as electric vehicle mandates and regulations. Home appliances.
According to Wright, the two main goals of the Trump administration's approach to these appliances are to reduce costs and higher performance.
“Is that radical?” Wright said of his purpose. “The Trump administration will end the Biden administration's irrational, semi-religious policies on climate change that have put endless sacrifices on our citizens.”

“The climate policy of previous administrations has been in poverty for our citizens, economically destroying our businesses and politically polarizing,” Wright said. “The cure was far more destructive than the illness. There are no winners in that world, except for politicians and rapidly growing interest groups.
According to a press release from the Energy Division, Wright announced the fourth measure on liquefied natural gas (LNG) in his remarks.
