Let’s face reality.
A Florida woman quickly learned a harsh lesson when she got into a fury with other shoppers in a supermarket parking lot and, upon realizing a bystander was filming her, she punched the cameraman.
Wtfbroward, a YouTube content creator who travels around South Florida looking for “public interactions,” witnessed two unidentified women driving a green Subaru Forester and a black Chevrolet Equinox arguing just outside a Publix supermarket in West Palm Beach last month.
The two appeared to be fighting over a handicapped parking space, video The curtain has risen.
“Oh shit,” Wtfbroward said as he began filming the altercation. “There’s a fight over here.”
As the argument continues, a woman in a green Subaru Forester can be heard yelling at the aggressive woman, “You’re going to hell!”
“You started it, and so did your kids. Thank you. Today was a good day. At least I’m not dressed like that.”
As the exchange continues between the women, both of them realize the YouTuber is filming them, the woman driving the Subaru yells, “Put it on YouTube!”, seemingly unconcerned about being filmed.
But just as the situation appeared to be coming to an end, a woman driving a Chevrolet, wearing a white shirt and jeans with a sweater draped over her shoulders, turned her attention to the content creator and walked towards him.
“Oh no,” Wtfbroward muttered.
Grabbing the camera, she begins demanding that the video’s creator “erase” the video.
“Miss,” he replied, “are you out of your mind?”
Then things get ugly between Wtfbroward and outraged Publix shoppers.
“Damn it, turn it off or I’ll beat you up!” she threatens as she approaches him, trying to snatch the camera again.
The YouTuber tried to step back in an attempt to calm the situation, but the angry shopper followed through with his threat and threw punches.
The camera pans to reveal a woman lying face up on the asphalt.
“Fuck, move, bitch!” Wtfbroward yells as he falls to the ground, stunned. “You can’t hit me!”
The enraged Publix shopper, seemingly unaware that the YouTuber was caught on camera punching him, threatened to call the police as the YouTuber walked away from the madness.
“Call me. You hit me. I got you on camera hitting me,” he tells her as she lies on the floor, still confused by the man’s defense of her physical assault.
She quickly got up and walked away, yelling at the content creator.
in Second video In a video uploaded by the YouTuber, the woman can be seen walking around the parking lot, pointing at Wtfbroward while on the phone and demanding that he “stay.”
Moments later, Wtfbroward tried to leave but was tailed by impatient shoppers.
“I slapped you, bitch,” she yelled at him.
“Don’t hit me girl! I don’t know who you are. Stay away from me,” he said, continuing to put distance between himself and her.
She then told him to wait for the officers, to which he responded that he would prove to the police that she was the aggressive one in the situation.
“Ma’am, I am permitted to defend myself,” he explained.
“I don’t think so,” she replied haughtily.
“Yes, that’s liberal bullshit. I have a right to defend myself. You’re attacking me,” the YouTuber argues.
She then tries to change her story and says she was just “trying to take” his phone, not trying to hit him.
“You’re not allowed to grab me! You have no authority!” he yelled as she continued to hang up.
She then began photographing him and his dishes, still refusing to take responsibility for her actions.
Not wanting to add to her madness any further, the YouTuber got into his truck and tried to drive away, but was stopped by a woman in a Subaru Forester, who had been arguing with the man who originally attacked him.
“She hit me,” Wtfbroward told the other woman, who before the video ends explains that she witnessed the whole thing and will be calling the police on his attacker.
It is unclear whether any charges have been filed against those involved.
