EPA Chief Lee Zeldin Leading ‘Largest Deregulatory Action’ with Trillions of Dollars in Cuts

EPA administrator Lee Zeldin said Tuesday in Breitbart Fight Club founder ‘Roundtable’ that the agency is leading the “biggest deregulation action” equivalent, cutting “trillions of deregulation dollars.”

At the Breitbart Fight Club roundtable, Environmental Protection Agency chief Zeldin spoke with Breitbart News editor Alex Marlow and Breitbart News Washington Bureau chief Matthew Boyle about the agency’s efforts to reduce government waste, fraud and abuse.

The former lawmaker, EPA administrator, has now cancelled more than $22 billion in contracts as part of President Donald Trump’s initiative to eliminate diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) policies, environmental justice grants and other extra government spending.

He highlighted the extent to which the administration could save a lot by reducing waste, fraud and abuse in government agencies. Zeldin said the agency’s annual operating budget was $10 billion, which could cut the $22 billion grant.

The agency leader said at the Breitbart Fight Club roundtable: Includes the automotive sector.

He continued. “What is the future of these terms like environmental justice and climate change, we’re back to basics. The core mission of the EPA is to protect human health and the environment, and we intend to promote a great American comeback.”

Zeldin announced in mid-March that the Biden administration would move to clean up hundreds of backlog cases, saying it focused on the agency’s “pursuit of ideology” rather than the agency’s “core mission.”

“We’re back to the basics. The core mission of the EPA is to protect human health and the environment, and promote a great American comeback. Pillar, clean airlines and water for all Americans to unleash their energy control. [artificial intelligence] The capital of the world. And then five, I’ll get back to American car jobs. We fulfill our core missions and power our great American comeback. That’s our commitment to the people of America,” Zeldin said.

Zeldin said, “The rule about the Breitbart Fight Club is that everyone needs to talk about the Breitbart Fight Club. So, for Breitbart listeners who are tuned, make sure you’re spreading the word.
