New York City Mayor Eric Adams provided a lukewarm response Monday night to the possibility that his federal corruption case could be thrown.

A Fox news reporter caught up with Hezoner while dining with supermarket mogul John Katosimatidis.

“We'll find more information, I don't have much now,” he said. According to the footage posted on x.

Adams, 64, said he wanted to talk to his lawyer before making further comments.

“We have just been notified that DOJ may have communicated with our local US lawyers' office here,” he added. “I want to talk [my lawyer] First, understand exactly what's going on right now. Because there's no information right now.

“When I'm sitting here, I get a call and we want to know what's going on.”

The DOJ sided with Adams saying that the accusations brought during the Biden administration were politically motivated because they opposed then-President Biden's handling of the immigration crisis.

“You are instructed to dismiss the pending charges as approved by the Attorney General,” said Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove to the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. I wrote it in a letter obtained by the post office.

Bove said that “improperly intervened” with Adams' re-election bid in a crowded Democratic primary in June, and that the mayor's ability to concentrate fully on violent crime and floods of Big Apple immigrants was “overly limited.” “He said.

If the charges are dismissed, they could be pulled back later.

Up until Monday's bombing, Adams had raced at least several times in DC, hoping to be close to Trump, including taking part in the inauguration. He also met with Florida Republicans before the 47th President was sworn in.

Adams was charged in September with accepting thousands of dollars on a luxury trip that was free or upgraded as bribes from foreigners in exchange for political benefits.

He denied the fraud and argued that the criminal case was brought in political retaliation for his criticism of Biden.
