Eric Trump Predicts Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million
Eric Trump, the son of former US President Donald Trump and co-founder of American Bitcoin (ABTC), expressed on Friday his belief that Bitcoin (BTC) will reach $1 million in the next few years, stating, “there is no doubt.”
Previously, he had suggested that BTC would hit this milestone by December 2024 while addressing attendees at the Bitcoin 2025 Asia Conference in Hong Kong.
“There are nations investing heavily in Bitcoin. Fortune 500 companies are also doing the same. Many influential families and leading companies see this digital asset as a valuable form of storage. Everyone is getting into Bitcoin.”
He added, “That’s incredible, and that’s why I’ve consistently said Bitcoin is bound to reach $1 million in the coming years. It’s undeniable that Bitcoin is on track to achieve this.”
Trump acknowledged that even with increasing interest from financial institutions and affluent individuals, current Bitcoin users remain “early” adopters.
Griffon Approves Merger with American Bitcoin Amid Minor BTC Fluctuation
Shareholders of Gryphon Digital Mining, a US-based Bitcoin mining firm, approved a reverse merger with ABTC in August. The new entity is expected to trade under the ABTC ticker once the merger is finalized and listed on the NASDAQ in September.
Since the announcement of initial trading in May 2025, Griffon’s shares have surged approximately 231%, including an increase of more than 42% just on Thursday, following merger speculation.
This development occurred in the context of a slight correction on August 14th, which saw Bitcoin drop from its peak price of about $124,500—around 13% down.
Currently, Bitcoin prices remain below the critical dynamic support level indicated by the 50-day exponential moving average (EMA), despite analysts and industry leaders hoping for a higher long-term market outlook.
