Eric Trump: Nations Quick to Strike Trade Deals with the US ‘Will Triumph’!

Eric Trump: Countries that rush to negotiate trade deal with US ‘will win’

Eric Trump, the son of President Trump, recommended that various nations dealing with mutual tariffs on imports to the U.S. should quickly engage in negotiations with his father.

“I don't want to be the last nation to strike a trade agreement with @RealdonaldTrump,” he stated, the young Trump, who is the vice president of the Trump organization. Thursday morning on Social Platform X.

“The initial outcome we negotiated is victory — we will certainly encounter losses in the long run,” he added. “I have experienced this scenario throughout my life…”

The president acknowledged that extensive tariffs could lead to short-term difficulties, but contended that the declaration on Wednesday imposing a 10% baseline tax on all imports would eventually enhance domestic manufacturing and generate additional jobs.

In light of emerging mutual tariffs, Trump also urged those who imposed extra taxes on specific nations to “tear down” American taxpayers.

On Thursday, Trump posted on True Social and seemed to have likened the economy to patients recovering after surgery.

“The operation is finished! The patient is alive and well,” he stated. “The forecast is that patients are more robust, larger, improved, and more resilient than ever. Make America great again!!!”

Despite his financial optimism, markets plummeted shortly after the announcement of mutual tariffs, impacting numerous nations severely. This news prompted a response from many, with some pledging to retaliate following calls for others to contact the White House.

The president indicated earlier this month that a nation could receive a break if it was open to negotiations, and reiterated on Wednesday that tariffs benefit the U.S. even if no other countries choose to negotiate.

“We can truly achieve great wealth. We can become richer than any other nation. It's astonishing,” Trump remarked on Wednesday from the Rose Garden.

“We care for nations globally. We must prioritize our people. Our people come first.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent on Wednesday also urged foreign governments to consider the ramifications of tariffs on their economies before deciding to retaliate.
