ESPN sports commentator Stephen A. Smith may be a leftist, but he doesn’t seem to support the Biden administration’s open borders policy. On Tuesday’s podcast, he said millions of dollars spent on illegal aliens are wasted while natural-born Americans are left impoverished.
As Smith ended his show on February 6, he left sports and entertainment behind to address American politics. And he said at the beginning of the corner that Donald Trump will be re-elected as president in November “even as a convicted felon.”
The commentator went on to explain why he felt that way, based on a story from New York City. In New York City, Democratic Mayor Eric Adams has authorized a pilot welfare program for undocumented immigrants. The plan includes funneling $53 million into prepaid credit cards that can be used by illegal aliens. Pocket money.
Smith said he was a “fan” of Mayor Eric Adams, but went on to denounce the provision of $53 million in prepaid credit cards to illegal aliens as a slap in the face to the American people.
Smith calls the fight against illegal immigration a ‘mayhem’, says he would leave New York City if his daughter didn’t live there, and freebie credit cards actually save New York City hundreds of thousands of dollars a year He said that Adams’ assertion that this would be the case was important. month is not very useful for legal minority messages.
“When you hear that immigrants are receiving $53 million in prepaid credit cards, Eric Adams’ administration in the New York City Mayor’s office will say that’s a savings of about $600,000 a month,” Smith said. “But poor people don’t think that way. You know how poor black people see this country, you know how poor Latino people who happen to come to this country see this country?” Do you know what you’re looking at? Where did that money come from? From us! It could have been spent! The extra 500 yen can be spent every month. The extra $1,000 can be used a month.”
Smith also accused Mayor Adams of touring countries south of Mexico, telling them not to come to the United States, and saying that New York has exceeded its capacity to accept illegal immigrants. Smith said he felt the trip was “the worst plan I’ve ever heard in my life” and criticized Adams for talking to foreigners instead of trying to negotiate with politicians here in the United States.
Smith was also outraged that Democrats are spending billions of dollars on illegal activities when so many Americans in need are being ignored.
“We see homeless people all the time on the streets of New York who are American citizens. We certainly see them in California. There are poor, needy, hungry people who were born and raised in this country. “You come up with a $10,000 pilot program, but the people who are here legally were born here and we don’t have enough of them,” he raged. “You can’t somehow solve the problem of the Motherland any more than you can come up with billions for Ukraine.”
“What happens to the poor, devastated residents here? How on earth do you print money for a foreign country, but not print that money to eradicate the people who are born and raised here in America and starving on the streets? This is what I’m talking about,” Smith exclaimed.
He also pointed out that Mr. Biden has created the perfect storm for Mr. Trump’s re-election.

“What’s the only way to eradicate it? Yes, we have to let the economy thrive. Yes, there can’t be inflation. Yes, we can’t be on the brink of recession. Milk costs $7. It doesn’t have to be, and the bread doesn’t have to be $5. Don’t start talking about how much sugar it costs,” he explained.
“You can talk all you want about employment. You can talk about labor force participation, but what will happen? You’re not making any money, but you’re paying the same price, or you’re buying the same amount of stuff you used to buy. If you have to work two jobs to buy something, and the price is higher than ever because of inflation, guess what? What are you really accomplishing? ?” he shouted. ” That’s why Trump is on the brink of re-election. Because when he was in office, the economy was thriving. ”
This prospect is not what Smith wants to see. He also claimed in a shrill voice that the country would descend into a “civil war” as President Trump went on a “revenge trip” to divide the country. But he also said he can’t blame rapper 50 Cent for saying he could support Trump.
Finally, Smith pointed out that every time Donald Trump runs for office, the black vote increases, and for good reason.
“Trump won 12% of the black vote in 2016, 16% of the black vote in 2020, and is expected to win more than 20% of the black vote in this election. That’s what they’re saying, and who’s to say it’s wrong for black people to vote for him?” he said.
Mr. Smith concluded by saying that he had never voted Republican. Still, he warned that seeing illegal aliens receive more benefits from the government than Americans does drives people away from the Democratic Party.
“But as we sit here right now, watching events like this, it seems like more intense attention is being paid to people who are not here legally, who are not even from this country. “But we want to turn around and ignore us, the black people, the Latinos.” And beyond that, there are people who are poor and needy. Because the rest of us here have been given something that we will never be able to give.”
