‘Euphoria’ Actor Accuses ICE, Denies Claims of Non-Compliance on Flight

Natasha Lyonne Responds to Flight Incident

Actress Natasha Lyonne, known for her roles in “Euphoria” and “American Pie,” reacted strongly to media reports claiming she did not cooperate with flight attendants. She has instead pointed the finger at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), alleging that they were responsible for her removal from a recent flight.

According to Page Six, the actress was taken off a flight from Los Angeles to New York City after reportedly ignoring crew instructions, including the request to fasten her seatbelt before takeoff. They mentioned that she seemed to be asleep behind her sunglasses and didn’t respond to repeated requests.

Lyonne, however, claimed that she had taken a sleep aid and was escorted off the plane by ICE agents, though she didn’t provide details about why they allegedly intervened.

In a tweet shared the following day, she explained, “Boarded seamlessly with just a backpack and sneakers, eager for a nap. The plan was to be nicely rested for my appearance with @DrewBarrymore upon landing.”

She expressed her disappointment over missing the chance to speak with Drew Barrymore, saying, “I guess ICE had other plans, and I was detained instead.” Lyonne added, “It’s a sign of the times, I guess. Thanks for all the love and support. I’ve never had a problem with Delta or TSA before. My heart goes out to our unpaid TSA workers. 💗💗 Apologies to any travelers who were delayed.”

Lyonne followed up with another post, reiterating her support for unpaid TSA agents and questioning ownership of Page Six and the New York Post.

Page Six noted that the flight was delayed for about an hour, ultimately departing without Lyonne aboard. The actress had recently shared an update about her progress in sobriety, stating, “Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better & back on her feet” on March 19.
