Important Events
Which round of 16 matchup are you most looking forward to? I think France vs Belgium will be a good match, even though neither team is at their best. Both teams are good enough and may finally show what they’re capable of when it really matters.
There were some fantastic moments after Romania qualified for the last 16 as group leaders.
How green is the euro? Philippe Auclair takes a look.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that England full-back Lucy Broads will leave Barcelona this summer when her contract expires.

Everyone will have an opinion on how England should play against Slovakia on Sunday. One of them is former striker Jermain Defoe, who would like to see more from Ollie Watkins in this tournament.
“When Ollie Watkins came on (against Denmark) he looked really sharp,” Defoe told the PA news agency. “He’s a player that really lights up the pitch because he’s so dynamic. He makes runs in behind and the ball doesn’t just come to his feet. I would like to see him do a bit more because Harry Kane can drop back as a no.10 and move around and do his job. Harry is a world-class finisher and it seems he can play in two positions. He’s almost mastered the no.9 position and can be a central player and also play as a no.10 because his passing rate is top class.”
How do we solve problems like the UK’s? Jacob Steinberg has a bold suggestion: Get rid of Jude Bellingham.
The team has looked incredibly unbalanced through their three group games and if Southgate wants to keep Rice and Mainu on the bench then it might be in everyone’s best interest to have Bellingham on the bench for Sunday’s game. What do you think?
It was a great night for Georgia. They reached the round of 16 in their first European Championships.
