The upcoming Republican National Convention will focus on America’s forgotten men and women and shine a spotlight on them and their stories, convention co-chair Dave Bossie, president of Citizens United, said during a television appearance. Breitbart News SaturdayA few days before the big event.
Bossie, who also served as deputy campaign manager for former President Donald Trump in 2016, previewed the program for the next Republican National Committee convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The convention will be the RNC’s first in-person convention in eight years, but this one will be different, with a focus on the American people.
“We’re trying to make this big and powerful and memorable. But instead of having politicians come out and speak, historically speaking, where you’d normally have 40 to 50 speakers over a four-night convention, this year we’re going to have 100 to 120 speakers because it’s Americans speaking to Americans, average Americans,” Bossie said.
For example, one speaker is a mother who lost her daughter to a fentanyl overdose, and another is a father who lost his son to MS-13 gang violence.
“There are people whose property has been destroyed by illegal immigrants. American after American is sharing their stories with the American people and how the various policies that Joe Biden has imposed on the American people have destroyed their lives,” Bossie said, adding that military veterans, disabled veterans and parents will also be attending the rally to share their stories.

“I think this is our strongest lineup of speakers ever,” he said, explaining that hearing these talks is “that much more impactful.”
“This is going to be a very emotional, poignant, crucial week that will define this campaign. This is a battle between good and evil. This is a battle between the demise of America and American exceptionalism,” Bossie continued, emphasizing that this is “perhaps the most important election in American history.”
“There have been few turning points like today,” he said, adding that the tournament was focused on a broader narrative.
“The message couldn’t be better and I think the candidate in Donald Trump is clearly someone with a proven track record. He’s a leader in the ‘Make America Great Again’ movement,” he added, noting that Trump is able to uniquely connect with the American people in a way that President Joe Biden cannot.
