Every Bad Person in D.C. ‘Aligned’ Against J.D. Vance

Carlson specifically pointed to the agents of chaos in the nation’s capital who seem to be in politics only to reap financial gain from killing others in a pointless war.

“I know who they are, their smell is so strong, I can smell it when he walks into a room, and all the people in the line that stretches from Milwaukee to Chicago were in line last week to knife J.D. Vance,” he said.

Not for personal reasons. I mean, he’s a really good guy. He’s one of the few happily married senators. But they thought he would be less manipulative, less intent on killing people. That’s it. He would be an obstacle to their ability to exercise power.

“And they went after him in a way that I’ve never seen before. I think this happens every day in Washington. I’m far away so I’m not in a vantage point on that, but I’m grateful to be in that position.”

“And I was reminded again that this process is so ugly that ordinary people don’t want to participate,” he said, “but ordinary people have to bite the bullet and participate anyway, because the consequences are very, very serious.”
