MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said on “Deadline” Monday that all of the Democrats on Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate list are “a step above” former President Donald Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio).
“What I’m about to say may not be popular or it may not interest me, but everyone on this list is a step above the top and second place Republicans, and that means Harris is full of enthusiasm and energy and verve that Democrats never expected and Republicans never expected,” Wallace said.
She continued, “And everyone on this list is so grounded and talented that sometimes I get anxious and check my phone for news leaks, but sometimes I’m like, they’re all so amazing.”
Wallace added: “I want to stick with the idea that this giant bench is another achievement for President Joe Biden, before we find out who she picks in this final news cycle. This is Biden’s policy of magnets, not reforestation. This is when you support bridges and roads, not inject bleach. This is what’s going to happen to your party.”
