Former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Isaiah Bond, who entered the transfer portal after Nick Saban announced his retirement, has committed to Texas.

Bonds spoke to ESPN about his decision on Sunday. He said he chose to play at Texas because of head coach Steve Sarkisian. He said Sarkisian aggressively recruited him after high school.

“I love the whole package that comes with it,” Bond told the outlet. “It's a great quarterback and they have a great offensive line. I felt like this was a great place for me.”

Bonds played his freshman and sophomore years with the Crimson Tide. He had 17 catches for 220 yards and one touchdown in 2022 and 48 catches for 668 yards and four touchdowns in 2023. He will be joining a Texas team that will be one of the favorites to win the national championship.

Quinn Ewers announced he will return to Texas in 2024. He told ESPN he looks forward to building a lasting legacy with the Longhorns.
