Welcome back, Kadarius Tony.
The two-time Super Bowl-winning wide receiver has been on the Browns' practice squad since September.
He was removed from the practice squad Saturday and is expected to make his season debut Sunday when Cleveland travels to New Orleans.
Toney, 25, most recently played for the Chiefs.
He landed in Kansas City in 2022 after the Giants gave him a third- and sixth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
In a 18-year partial season with Patrick Mahomes and others, Toney played in 20 games and caught 41 of 55 targets for 340 yards and three touchdowns.
Chiefs fans will remember Tony most fondly for his heroics in the 2023 Super Bowl.
A key punt return and receiving touchdown helped Kansas City win its third world championship in franchise history.
That was great for Tony with the Chiefs.
After a 2023 season plagued by dropped passes, the Chiefs released him from the roster before Week 1 in August 2024.
He did not play after Week 15.

Toney began his career in New York in 2021 when the Giants selected him with the No. 21 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Alabama native played in just 12 of 24 games in his first two seasons with the Giants due to a nagging hamstring injury.
Toney, a member of the Browns' practice squad, had limited appearances due to an undisclosed injury.
However, his numbers have steadily increased in recent weeks, and due to injuries to other players on the roster, including rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr., Toney will earn regular team minutes. .
Toney joins a talented wide receiver room in Cleveland and will compete for quarterback Jameis Winston's attention with fellow wideouts Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman and Elijah Moore.
Tight end David Njoku has also seen his target share increase in recent weeks.
Kickoff between the Browns (2-7) and Saints (3-7) is scheduled for 1 p.m. in New Orleans.
