TORONTO — RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley returned to the team this week after personal leave, but will not be back in the Raptors’ lineup for Wednesday night’s game against the Knicks.
Both former Knicks players are listed as unavailable for “conditioning for return to play.”
Barrett will miss seven consecutive games due to the death of his 19-year-old brother Nathan earlier this month.
After being traded to Toronto along with Quickley for OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa on December 30, he appeared in 27 games with the Raptors, averaging 20.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
Quickley also hasn’t played since March 17 for personal reasons.
He appeared in 32 games after the trade, posting 17.7 points and 6.6 assists per game while shooting 39.7 percent from 3-point range.
The sliding Raptors, who have lost 11 games in a row and are now 23-49 overall, are without injured Scottie Barnes (hand), Jacob Poeltl (finger) and Chris Boucher (knee).
Jontay Porter will also remain suspended for three straight games while the NBA investigates prop bet fraud involving him.
This will be the second consecutive game the Knicks will play a lottery pick with a bare-bones roster.

In Monday’s blowout loss to the Knicks, the Pistons were without Cade Cunningham, Quentin Grimes, Jalen Duren, Orser Thompson, Isaiah Stewart, Simone Fontequo and Taj Gibson.
Alec Burks, who missed Monday’s game, is listed as questionable for the Knicks due to a sprained left shoulder. Mitchell Robinson (ankle), Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow) remain sidelined.
Donte DiVincenzo set a franchise record with 11 3-pointers on Monday against former Knick Evan Fournier’s Pistons, surpassing the record shared by Fournier and J.R. Smith.
DiVincenzo is seven away from Fournier’s single-season franchise record of 241 3-pointers.
“He did what he did for a reason,” DiVincenzo said of Fournier. “Evan is a really great player and one of the things I respect most about him is how good of a teammate he is.”
“Even when things weren’t going his way, he never changed. …I ended up playing against him when everything was going well for him, but I came here. Sometimes things aren’t going his way and you never know. I think he ranks up there among his teammates as one of the best players in the locker room.”
