Ex-MTV Star Kirk Medas Battling For His Life In ICU, Says His Former Co-Stars

Kirk Medas, known from “Floribama Shore,” has been admitted to the ICU due to necrotic pancreatitis and is currently on a ventilator, as confirmed by a former co-star. Friends and family are rallying around him during this tough time, trying to support his medical expenses through a GoFundMe campaign.

“He’s been sedated, and recovery can take a while,” wrote Shawn Staples on the crowdfunding page. “We’re hopeful for a full recovery, but this process might require some patience. Donations will go towards his medical and rehabilitation costs.”

The Medas family is asking fans to “keep Kirk in your thoughts and prayers.”

Nilsa Prowant, another former cast member of the now-cancelled MTV series, mentioned to TMZ that Kirk has been hospitalized for nearly two weeks now. She has traveled to Miami to visit him and has observed how he’s been on a ventilator. Prowant highlighted that all funds raised will support his medical needs and recovery process.

Amy Elizabeth Hall also spoke out via Instagram, stating, “Kirk has been in the ICU for over two weeks, seriously battling necrotic pancreatitis. The situation is critical, and Nilsa is frequently going back and forth to Miami to see him.”

As of now, over 866 people have contributed to the GoFundMe, raising more than $22,000 towards a $100,000 goal.

Details surrounding the events leading to Medas’s condition remain unclear, and it is uncertain whether he will fully recover.
