Ex-NBA coach Sam Mitchell doxxes co-host’s address on live broadcast over salary joke

Friday night's “NBA Game Time Live” broadcast went off the rails shortly thereafter. Former NBA coach Sam Mitchell exposed co-host Chris Miles after a seemingly harmless salary joke.

The incident began during pregame coverage. golden state warriors During the game, Mitchell, 61, lamented the failure of his basketball coach, in this case Steve Kerr, to win a medal at the Olympics.

“I think this just shows internationally how they value coaches, and that's not the case at all. Why can't coaches win gold medals?”

“I'm surprised the coaches get paid on this show,” Miles quickly responded. “Maybe you should do this pro bono, my friend.”

The former NBA Coach of the Year didn't seem to appreciate that comment, and things went downhill from there.

“The last time I looked at the check, it was pretty close. So I'm asking for donations, and since you're bragging about it, why don't you take some of the money you give me? ”

Miles tried to laugh off the tense confrontation, but Mitchell was unrelenting.

Miles, clearly uncomfortable, said there was a “snitch” on the broadcast, but Mitchell disagreed, calling himself a “truth teller.”

“You're the one crying here, poor and needy. Should I keep traveling further and further, or do I want to quit now?”

Miles shifted his focus back to the match, but Mitchell continued talking, even threatening to reveal his home address.

As the broadcast continued, Mitchell eventually revealed the address of one of Miles' properties. Miles goes for a cut to break, but Mitchell has the last word.
