Former NFL star turned CBS broadcaster JJ Watt had a reminder Sunday night for fans and those who may have been watching his coverage of Super Bowl III.
Watt appeared on television with a different hairstyle, which confused many NFL fans. He has been compared to Jason Bateman’s Pepper Brooks in Dodgeball and the character going to his high school prom.
The former Houston Texans defensive end was well aware that social media was making fun of him.

“Have you ever changed your hair and wondered if anyone would notice?” They have noticed,” he wrote to X.
This was Watt’s first time covering a Super Bowl from his broadcast chair since he will retire from the NFL after the 2022 season. He spent time in the NFL beating opposing offenses with the Texans and Arizona Cardinals.
Watt will likely seek induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame if he qualifies. He was a five-time Pro Bowler and a five-time First Team All-Pro. He also won the Defensive Player of the Year award three times.

Although he is no doubt retired from the NFL, his brother TJ Watt spoke to Fox News Digital about the recruiting tactics they tried to use to lure him back to the field.
“I was trying to win as much as I could. I knew that was going to be a big factor,” TJ said. “At the end of the day, all business decisions are separate from that. He was preparing for a rainy day, and obviously it didn’t happen.”
