Former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson became angry over Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Lachie Rice’s alleged involvement in a car crash in Dallas and fled the scene.

“First of all, this is unfortunate for Lachie, because I know him well and he’s old enough to know better. So I’m angry at him.” said Johnson. “I’ve already texted him, and he doesn’t reply to me because my texts weren’t good. Dallas police were searching for Rice in an investigation into a crash that injured four people.

Rice’s attorney, state Sen. Royce West, said late Monday that his client is cooperating with authorities. West said Rice would “take all necessary steps to responsibly address the situation.”
