EXORCIST: Is America demonically possessed?

There is no doubt that America is in a moral crisis, but does it have anything to do with demonic possession?

Meanwhile, Msgr. Stephen J. Rossetti, a Roman Catholic priest and exorcist in the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., does not believe we are possessed as a nation and believes that Satan's influence is “growing stronger.” I believe that there is.

Rossetti describes this as “the devil's oppression.''

“Satan was always there. That's why he never went away,” Rossetti told Liz Wheeler on “The Liz Wheeler Show.” “Satan seems to be revealing himself even more today. I feel like that hidden presence is coming out into the open.”

“This can be seen in many different ways,” he continues. “So I think we're really entering a time of spiritual warfare where Satan is burning down churches and turning people away from the faith and where thousands and hundreds of thousands of people are practicing witchcraft. .”

Rossetti believes practices like kundalini yoga are demonic influences, but believes people don't understand what they're doing.

“Whether you realize it or not, you are making a pact with Satan, and whether you realize it or not, you are worshiping the devil,” he said, adding: He added: It is under the control of Satan. ”

On social media platforms like TikTok, billions of people watch “WitchTok” videos that showcase people dabbling in the occult.

“The negative influences are taking hold,” he says, explaining that one way in which demonic influence manifests itself in humans is through mental illness.

Rossetti, who has been a licensed psychologist for 35 years, told Wheeler that to identify whether a person is under the influence of evil spirits, he first tests them for psychological problems.

“If it looks like something spiritual is going on, we start discerning, and part of discerning is praying for the person. And if they are truly possessed, If the devil possesses their body, we pray for them and eventually the devil starts to react,” he explains.

“Typically, the person's personality recedes into the background and the demon comes forward and the first thing they say is, 'You stupid priest.'”

“It's not that person's voice, it's a different voice, and it's definitely a different attitude. And the next thing they say is, 'She's mine,' or 'He's mine,'” Rossetti says. . “And we say, ‘Okay, let’s start the game.’ She belongs to Jesus and he belongs to Jesus.”
