The actress, who is pregnant, recently showed off her growing baby bump while navigating the New York City subway, attempting to go unnoticed.
On Tuesday, the former “Parks and Recreation” star was seen resting against a post, engrossed in her phone.
For this casual outing, which is typical for the city, Plaza wore a cropped white T-shirt that revealed her midsection, paired with black shorts, a khaki jacket, and white knee-high compression socks, along with New Balance sneakers ($159.99).
Earlier in the day, she was also photographed strolling in Manhattan’s SoHo district.
Her subway ride took place just a day after she publicly announced her pregnancy during an appearance on the “Smartless” podcast with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett. Plaza casually stated, “Yes, I have a baby inside of me,” prompting a surprised reaction from the hosts. She clarified, saying, “No, I just said there’s a baby inside me.”
Accessorizing her outfit, she wore a baseball cap, sunglasses, and carried a Deliberate L black woven shoulder bag ($195).
When asked about her feelings on becoming a mother, Plaza replied with enthusiasm, “I’m excited.” I mean, it’s all pretty interesting, right?
Last week, it was revealed that Plaza is expecting her first child with boyfriend Christopher Abbott. Sources noted that, after a challenging year marked by the loss of her husband, Jeff Baena, this news has been a lovely surprise for her.
