Meghan Markle Returns for Season 2 of “With Love, Meghan”
Meghan Markle is set to return to Netflix with her new season of the series. Interestingly, it seems the royal family has not paid much attention to it.
This assertion comes from royal expert Kinsey Schofield during a recent episode of “Kinsey Schofield is not filtered” on YouTube, which aired just before the premiere of “Love, Meghan” on August 26.
“From what I hear, Season 2 isn’t really even on their radar,” Schofield remarked to Fox News Digital. “It doesn’t really impact the core members: King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.”
A comparison was made between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the Obamas regarding their Netflix deal, noting that they are experiencing a challenging time.
Schofield added that recent comments from William and Kate, shared in Bella magazine, hinted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new endeavors feel “very rushed and budgeted.”
“That sentiment reflects what my sources have said,” she noted. “There’s just a sense of disconnect… the royals don’t find it relatable. They’re not losing sleep over ‘Love, Meghan.’ It’s not something that concerns them, and they’re certainly not preparing any special treatments for her.”
Just last week, on August 11, the Duchess was granted a multi-year deal with Netflix for upcoming film and television projects through Archewell Productions.
In a curious turn, Schofield noted that royal insiders believe there’s little interest among senior royals in watching Markle’s show, deeming it irrelevant and possibly detrimental to their image.
“There is zero interest from the senior royals in watching Meghan’s series,” Fordwich insisted. “It’s viewed as trivial while avoiding any exploitation of their royal ties.”
Despite a warm reception for the lifestyle series that debuted in March, there have been whispers about a connection between Meghan’s projects and a potential downturn similar to the Obamas’ experience with Netflix.
Yet Meghan remains optimistic, expressing in a prior statement her excitement about expanding her partnership with Netflix, looking to create engaging and meaningful content.
Amid these developments, experts are speculating if Sussex will dive into documenting Princess Diana, raising eyebrows about their motivation and potential exploitation of royal narratives.
Prince Harry has recently voiced his desire to reconcile with his family, especially considering the health struggles faced by King Charles III. The royal family, however, remains guarded and wary of upcoming projects that may spark more controversy.
The ongoing tension suggests that the royals may be cautious about what might come next from the Sussexes, wary of a cycle that could continue to alienate their connection.
In summary, as Meghan continues to forge her own path in the entertainment world, the royal family seems intent on maintaining their distance, perhaps prioritizing their own stability over the evolving narrative surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
