Owens’ behavior has been seen as a calculated blend of truth disregard, attention-seeking, and recklessness.
Insiders noted that colleagues at the Daily Wire often disliked her, believing that she was delusional about her own fabrications. Her pattern of incendiary actions appears to have roots tracing back to her high school days. One insider remarked, “Everything she’s doing now is about destroying Charlie’s legacy because she was kicked out of TPUSA.”
Owens served as communications director for TPUSA between 2017 and 2019. A source connected to a TPUSA executive mentioned that while Charlie Kirk had to let her go due to her erratic behavior, he still attempted to maintain a friendship through texting.
