Hailey Jade has continuously shown her support for her mother, Kim Scott, despite the tumultuous personal and legal issues that have plagued their relationship over the years.
According to a source who spoke with Page Six, “Hailey never stopped loving her mother, no matter what happens.” The source added that she is genuinely concerned for Kim’s well-being and just wants to ensure she’s alright.
“Their relationship has definitely had its share of challenges, but Hailey has always tried not to pass judgment on her mother,” the insider noted. “She understands that Kim has dealt with a lot throughout her life.”
Recently, Scott (previously known as Kim Mathers) has been facing significant legal and personal challenges that have come to light. The 51-year-old was taken into custody at Macomb County Jail after a Michigan judge revoked her bail due to ongoing legal troubles.
Currently, Scott is grappling with two drunk driving cases as well as another case related to a police incident back in July.
On July 11, first responders were dispatched to Kim’s home in Chesterfield Township after reports surfaced about a potential suicide attempt.
Scott, who pleaded no contest in May for a DUI charge stemming from a February crash, faced another arrest merely three days later when she crashed into a parked car and had a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit.
Although a bench warrant was issued when she missed a court date in June, it was later canceled after she appeared in court.
The timing of these legal troubles is particularly challenging for Scott.
On July 11, ambulance records revealed that relatives had reached out for help, and Scott was transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital with severe bleeding. Video footage captured by TMZ depicted her being carried by paramedics on a stretcher, unconscious.
A source described the recent health scare as extremely hard for Hailey, sharing, “It’s always emotional when something happens to her mother, because a mother never wants to hear such news.”
Hailey, now 30, married her longtime partner Evan McClintock in May 2024 and welcomed their son, Elliott Marshall McClintock, in March 2025. Observers have noted that taking on the roles of wife and mother has provided Hailey with a richer understanding of the complexities inherent in family dynamics.
While Hailey wishes to maintain a close relationship with her mother, she also aims to protect the life she’s built with her own family.
Hailey’s representative has not yet responded to inquiries for comment.
Kim Scott was previously married to Eminem (Marshall Mathers) from 1999 until 2001 and briefly remarried in 2006, but the relationship ended when Eminem, 53, filed for divorce. Together, they share three children: Hailey Jade, Alaina (33), and Stevie (24). Additionally, Scott has another son named Parker from a relationship following her split from Eminem.
