Trump’s Gifts to the British Royals During State Visit

On September 17, 2025, Buckingham Palace disclosed the gifts exchanged between U.S. President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, King Charles III, and Queen Consort Camilla during Trump’s second state visit to the UK. This visit marked the President’s first trip since 2019, prior to Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, and was greeted by King Charles III, who has been on the throne since 2022.

The gifts included a replica sword once belonging to President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a gesture from Trump that signifies deep respect and remembrance of the historical alliance that led to the Allied victory in World War II. Originally, this sword, known as the Sword of Honor, was presented to Eisenhower in 1945 by the Lord Mayor of London in recognition of his leadership.

In addition, the Trumps gifted Queen Camilla an 18K gold, diamond, and ruby flower brooch from Tiffany & Co. This choice was purposeful, reflecting Camilla’s birthstone, ruby, and Melania’s, which is diamond.

In return, the British royals handed President Trump a custom leather-bound book from the Royal Bindery, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, set for July 4, 2026. Additionally, he received a Union Flag that had flown over Buckingham Palace on his inauguration day, January 20.

Queen Camilla and King Charles also presented Melania Trump with a silver and enamel bowl alongside a personalized handbag from Anya Hindmarch. Finally, they gifted the Trump family a silver photo frame engraved with the royal cypher of both the king and queen.
