Jack Carr Explores Carlos the Jackal in New Documentary Series
Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL sniper and bestselling author, is set to share his military expertise in a new streaming event on Fox Nation.
He will be hosting a three-part documentary series titled “Investigating Jack Carr: Carlos the Jackal,” which is scheduled to launch on Monday, June 29. The series dives into the life of Carlos the Jackal, a Venezuelan extremist responsible for some of the most significant terrorist attacks of the 20th century. Through this show, Carr reveals how this infamous figure evaded authorities for years and presents the only known recorded interview with Carlos, offering a disturbing perspective on a truly twisted mind.
Fox Nation’s President, Lauren Pettersson, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with Carr, highlighting the author’s unique insights into special operations and national security. She stated, “We are proud to partner with Jack on this compelling new series. His extraordinary insight provides an unprecedented perspective on one of the most notorious terrorists of our time.”
Carr mentioned his fascination with Carlos the Jackal began in his childhood. He recalled reading about him in various publications and being puzzled about why intelligence agencies couldn’t capture him. “Now, this docuseries examines the man behind the myth—an elusive murderer whose violent actions inspired a new wave of terrorism,” he reflected.
The documentary will feature a team of former CIA and FBI officials, along with intelligence experts, who will share firsthand experiences about the hunt for Carlos. They will help illustrate just how this dangerous extremist impacted modern terrorism, detailing his violent acts, including assassinations and hijackings.
Though he has made a name for himself in both literature and television, Carr’s beginnings stemmed from a decorated military career. He served for two decades as a Navy SEAL, taking on leadership roles and leading teams in various operations in places like Iraq and Afghanistan.
Carr transitioned into the literary world with his debut novel, “The Terminal List,” which became a New York Times bestseller and was later adapted into a successful Amazon series featuring Chris Pratt. Since then, he has authored several compelling works, including “True Believer,” “Savage Son,” and “The Devil’s Hand.”
The series “Investigating Jack Carr: Carlos the Jackal” is a collaboration with Bright North Studios, Kuma Studios, NGI Productions, and Can11. Morgan Helzan, CEO of Bright North Studios USA, praised Carr’s storytelling capabilities, stating, “Jack understands the inner workings of government and elite military operations like no other.” He emphasized that Carr’s military background will enhance the narrative of one of the world’s most notorious terrorists.
