EXPOSED: Evidence suggests Trump shooter may met with FBI

The Heritage Foundation Project 2025has begun using readily available cell phone tracking technology to investigate suspicious activity linked to Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man accused of trying to assassinate President Trump. Monitoring Project Split.

“It’s not just law enforcement or government agencies that do this kind of thing. … If you walk into a Boots store in Nashville, they’re tracking you and you start seeing these ads,” explained investigative journalist and Blaze Media correspondent Steve Baker, noting that this type of technology is called “Ad ID.”

“Every single one of our cell phones has a number that’s basically the equivalent of a Social Security number, so if your cell phone is identified, it can be tracked wherever you go,” Baker explains.

While being tracked is unpleasant for many people, the technology could help uncover more about Crooks, who federal investigators report had no detectable motive for his actions.

Unfortunately, it is hard to believe that these reports reflect the truth, which is probably why the Heritage Foundation picked up a magnifying glass.

“The point is [the Oversight Project] “They found out through their own tracking,” Baker said.

“Police were able to identify and locate approximately nine cell phones in the shooter’s home,” and then, “police were able to determine which of those cell phones had been sent to the nursing home where the shooter worked.”

Once the “correct ID” was identified, the team was then able to track where Crooks had gone.

“What they discovered is that this kid was basically doing reconnaissance. [the Butler, Pennsylvania, rally] “I visited the site on the Fourth of July and the 8th, and then after the 12th I turned my phone off, or at least shut down all the apps on my phone, to make sure I wasn’t tracked on those days,” Baker said.

But it gets even better.

“In the process of checking all the mobile phones that were visited [Crooks’] When I got home and visited the nursing home where he worked, they actually I was pinged 7-8 times by DC.It’s a building called Gallery Place, and it’s where quite a few FBI offices are located and where meetings and interviews with sources are regularly held.”

“Obviously, there are a lot of non-nefarious reasons why someone would be in that building in Washington,” Baker acknowledged, “but it’s very interesting.”

“Do they feel they’ve exhausted all that’s available when it comes to looking at what’s going on with cell phone data?” asks Matthew Peterson, editor-in-chief of Blaze Media.
