Following the news of Dolly Parton’s death at 80 on Tuesday, tributes are pouring in from her famous friends, fans, and colleagues around the globe.

Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account to honor her legacy. He expressed his sadness, stating, “Very sad to report that Dolly Parton, one of the greatest Country singers, and far beyond, EVER, has just passed away. This is a true loss for millions of people. There has never been anyone like her, and never will. In her honor, I am lowering the American flag throughout the United States for a one week period beginning tonight at 6:00PM. Rest in Peace, Dolly! The World loves you.”

The star of “Jolene” had a close relationship with many in the industry. Actress Lily Tomlin, her co-star in the film 9 to 5, shared her heartache on Instagram, saying simply, “I Will Always Love You. No words,” alongside a photo of the pair.

Jamie Lee Curtis also paid tribute, calling Parton a ‘hero.’ She reflected on how Parton showed courage by understanding her own worth, which led her to write the iconic song as a way to express gratitude while moving forward in life. “She is a great example for us all,” Curtis added.

Pedro Pascal, known for his roles in Marvel and Star Wars, referred to Parton as “one of one,” a sentiment that highlights her uniqueness.
