Ezekiel Elliott Signs One-Year Deal With New England Patriots: REPORT

Well, well, well… see who’s heading to Foxborough.

free agent running back Ezekiel Elliott On Monday, he announced on social media that he would be joining the New England Patriots.

“One Five Live Forever! @Patriots” Elliott tweeted This is a reference to his plans to wear number 15, the same number he wore while playing college football at Ohio State. During his time with the Cowboys, Elliott wore the number 21 jersey.

The superstar running back has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Patriots ESPN. The deal provides Elliott with a base salary of $3 million and a signing bonus of $1 million. Elliott can also earn up to $6 million from incentives.

New England will address one of the thinnest positions on the team with this move.

I may be a Miami Dolphins fan, but kudos have to be given to the Patriots here.

Not only did they add one of the weakest positions on the roster, they did it for an incredibly cheap price. What can we say about Zeke’s potential decline, but he’s still nearly through another 1,000-yard season in 2022 and is now in a perfect position with Bill Belichick at the helm. These are just big moves that give life to players, especially in this case, potentially returning Zeke to the elite he has over 1,000 stats.

And did I mention they landed this one? still for superstars cheap? (Related: Michael Oher claims ‘Blind Side’ movie was a lie, Tuohy family made millions on it and left him behind: report)
