The first qualifying session for the 2025 Formula 1 season is here, and you'll be playing all of the Australian Grand Prix.
During the third practice session on Saturday, hometown hero Oscar Piastri was on top of the timing sheet. Lap times fell over the entire hour-long session as teams and drivers made more simulated qualifying runs. However, piastry is not the only driver you will see when your qualification begins. Mercedes driver George Russell was just 0.039 seconds behind Piastri's pace, while Max Verstappen was just 0.081 seconds behind third place.
But there are a few other drivers in the mix. The Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton showed improvements in pace on Saturday, with Russell's new teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli finishing fifth in FP3. The Williams pair of Carlos Sainz Jr. and Alexander Albon finished sixth and seventh respectively, showing the true race pace with a few laps on hard compounds early in the session. Norris finished on a P10, but these first two sectors certainly caught the eye of many in Paddock.
