F1 reveals collaboration with Disney set to begin in 2026

Mickey Mouse is joining the team.

The sport has unveiled a partnership with Disney that will kick off next season. This collaboration aims to bring Mickey Mouse and his friends into the “fast world of Formula 1” through various experiences, content, and products globally, as stated in a recent announcement.

A joint statement described the partnership as being “turbocharged by the two brands’ shared affinity for creativity, entertainment, and innovation, uniting fans worldwide in an unforgettable and unique experience.”

“This collaboration with Disney promises to be fantastic as it will introduce the universe of Mickey and his friends to fans, and vice versa. It’s a clever way to reach beyond traditional sports and tap into a larger consumer market. Both brands are renowned for pushing boundaries and delivering entertainment and excitement to millions. We’re eager to see what our team develops for the circuit and beyond,” said a representative.

This initiative aims to cultivate the next generation of F1 fans. According to a press release, the sport is experiencing noteworthy growth among younger audiences, with more than 4 million children aged 8-12 actively following it in the European Union and the US. Moreover, a significant percentage of followers on platforms like TikTok (54%) and Instagram (40%) are under 25.

Further details about this partnership are expected to be revealed during the 2025 Formula 1 season.
