Fabricated Document Showing Breakup Date for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Kicks Off Legal Firestorm

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's public relations firm has reportedly contacted an attorney after a fake document went viral showing the exact date of his breakup from pop star Taylor Swift.

A fake contract, supposedly issued by Los Angeles-based PR firm Full Scope, has sparked a legal battle as fans take to social media to debate whether Swift and Kelsey's relationship is now a sham.

Full Scope said Daily Mail The document is “completely false and fabricated and has not been prepared, issued or approved by this agency,” it said, adding that it had contacted its lawyers.

“We have retained a legal team to pursue legal action against the individuals and entities responsible for the illegal and harmful document falsification,” the PR firm said.

The forged contract outlined Swift and Kelsey's plan to end their relationship on September 28th, as well as a strategy for dealing with the reaction to their breakup.

The forged documents included plans to issue a statement three days after the split to “calm the initial media furor and ensure clarity” and to send the press release to major media outlets to “ensure widespread coverage.”

The “Respect and Privacy” section also emphasized the need to emphasize that “the separation was a mutual decision that respected each other's private lives”, and subsequent media interviews focused on “Kelsey's recent sporting achievements and future goals”, while emphasizing “his respect for Taylor Swift and the mutual decision to separate”.

Swift and Kelsey's relationship was first confirmed in September 2023. Public opinion has been mixed, with some speculating that the two are not compatible, while others believe that after years of searching, the pop star has finally found her soul mate.

Interestingly, one of Kelsey's representatives is Jack Ketoshian, who has admitted to orchestrating the “showmance” – a situation in which a celebrity stages a relationship to bolster their stardom or distract from bad publicity. Daily Mail He pointed out.

2019, Ketosian said Mama Mia's Quick “It's all about promoting a concert, promoting an album, selling tickets, or getting people to go see a movie. It's all about promotion now,” he said on the podcast.

Ketoshian gave the example of a male client whose upcoming movie was “getting a lot of bad reviews.”

“So we found a girl for him. It was just a one-year contract and it worked out,” Ketoshian said, adding that this staged relationship would “alter people from asking how much of a flop the movie was and what their romance was like.”

The Hollywood spokesperson further said fake celebrity relationships are also used to connect less popular celebrities with big name stars, making them the most talked about people overnight.

Ketoshian noted that the tactic typically involves pairing a high-profile male celebrity with a lesser-known female celebrity, but it can also work the other way around.

There is no evidence that Swift and Kelsey are taking part in any such “showmanship,” and any suggestions that the couple are taking part in showmanship are purely speculation.

Swift is currently on a break from her 'Eraser' tour, having just returned from Europe, and is set to resume concerts in Florida next month. In preparation He will play one more season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
