Fake massage therapist charged after molesting woman in illegal New York office: Report

A 45-year-old New Rochelle man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman while posing as a professional masseuse. The incident reportedly occurred at the man’s illegal home massage therapy office, the paper said. new york post.

Ascención Rojas Quinterio is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and unauthorized professional conduct, both felonies. Authorities showed up at his home Friday night and arrested Rojas-Quinterio.

However, authorities are investigating whether other customers also fell victim to the man’s scheme.

New Rochelle police announced that Rojas Quinterio is “accused of engaging in criminal sexual acts on an unsuspecting victim during a session.”

“Rojas Quinterio is believed to have been building a customer base for his unlicensed business and preying on female customers from the Church Street home he used to conduct business,” authorities said.

Rojas-Quinterio is reportedly being held in the Westchester County Jail on $1,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court again on March 22nd.

A former North Nashville massage therapist was arrested in 2021 for posing as a licensed professional, according to reports. tennessean. Tarek Mentoori was accused of multiple counts of sexual misconduct and had his massage license revoked by the Tennessee Massage Licensing Board in August 2020.

In the end, he was released soon after his arrest.

However, in 2022, 25 women came forward to police alleging sexual assault by Mentri, and Mentri was sentenced to six years in prison. She admitted to the sex offense in November 2021.

Mentoli attempted to escape from prison, but ultimately agreed to spend six years in prison after 12 charges were dropped.

Peyton Parker, one of the victims in the case, said Mentoli’s attempt at an apology didn’t sit well with him because it didn’t seem genuine.

During the trial, Mentri appeared to joke about what he had done, and when asked to apologize to the women he had assaulted, he eventually replied, “I don’t speak English.”

Mentoli also suggested that while in prison he began taking yoga classes in an attempt to find “inner peace.” He went on to say that he had found a Christian nursing home that he could move into if he was released early.

“Since going to prison, I have been trying to find God again and improve myself in many ways,” Mentori said.
