The Los Angeles Chargers aren't the only team to interview with Jim Harbaugh while searching for a new head coach.

The Atlanta Falcons, who just interviewed with Bill Belichick for the same position, have interviewed Harbaugh in hopes of filling the vacant position, the team announced Tuesday.

In addition to Belichick and Harbaugh, the Falcons have interviewed Mike McDonald, Brian Callahan, Steve Wilkes, Ejiro Evero and Anthony Weaver.

The Falcons have had success recruiting a variety of coaching candidates, with Harbaugh and Belichick being two of them.

There are currently reports that Harbaugh is still in talks with the University of Michigan about a potential new contract.

According to Yahoo Sports, Harbaugh is also reportedly seeking language that would protect him from termination in the event of any findings or sanctions from the multiple NCAA investigations facing the Wolverines' program.

Harbaugh has led the Wolverines for the past nine seasons, winning a national championship earlier this month after an undefeated season.

If Harbaugh returns to the NFL, the team would have to pay Michigan $1.5 million to get out of his current contract with the university.

Harbaugh previously served as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, compiling a 44-19-1 regular season record from 2011 to 2014 before returning to college with the Wolverines.

During the 2012 season, Harbaugh helped lead the Niners to the Super Bowl, which they ultimately lost to the Baltimore Ravens. The 49ers advanced to the NFC Championship Game in three consecutive seasons from 2011 to 2013.

This means back-to-back seasons in which Harbaugh has interviewed with head coaches while considering the possibility of returning to the NFL. This is probably the year he goes all in on it, as there are a lot of different positions open and more likely to open soon.
