Falcons hit back with a laugh.
Atlanta released a schedule video last month that seemed like a jab, especially since Hudson wore the Falcons’ Super Bowl Champion shirt earlier this year in a “Mario Kurt”-themed clip.
In this social media post, an animated Bill Belichick, aged 73, and Hudson, 24, were shown lounging under an umbrella at a beach beside a sign saying, “We’re not discussing this.”
Just after the 2024 season wrapped up, Hudson poked fun at the Falcons during Super Bowl Week in February, donning a T-shirt that painfully reminded fans of their championship loss.
Previously, he had interviewed the Falcons regarding head coaching positions after Arthur Smith’s departure in January 2024.
The role ultimately went to Raheem Morris, who is now in his second season after an 8-9 finish last year, missing the playoffs.
Bill Belichick and Hudson have remained in the spotlight since their CBS coaching appearance in April 2025.
During a CBS Sunday Morning interview, Hudson quickly deflected questions about how she and Belichick first met.
For a bit of context, the Falcons had a lead of 28-3 against Belichick’s Patriots in 2017, only to watch Tom Brady lead a stunning comeback, resulting in a loss of 34-28 in the championship.
In March, Hudson took another jab at the Falcons, tweeting about the infamous date associated with that score: “3-28 happy to those celebrating.”
She notably remarked, “we haven’t talked about this” during a failed Q&A with Tony Dokoupil and Belichick on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
The two reportedly met during a flight in 2021, revealing their relationship three years later.
Subsequent reactions to Belichick’s interview have shone a spotlight on his relationship with Hudson, a former college cheerleader.
When asked about Hudson’s involvement in a recent discussion, the new UNC football coach stated he wasn’t connected to the program.
Belichick, a six-time Super Bowl champion, took the job at UNC in December after missing the NFL hiring cycle earlier this year.
He emphasized that while he and Hudson share a personal connection, she has no part in UNC football.
